Recently the Europa Kolleg Hamburg has been approved to join the Council for European Studies, which already an elite international coalition of universities, centers and other organisations belongs to.
The Council for European Studies (CES) is the leading international organization for the study of Europe. The Council promotes and recognizes outstandig multidisciplinary research on Europe and European affairs through a range of programs, including conferences, publications, grants and awards. It also publishes a semiannual, multidisciplinary journal “Perspectives on Europe” and coordinates the annual International Conference of Europeanists.
