About us
Foundation Europa-Kolleg Hamburg
The Europa-Kolleg Hamburg is an internationally significant educational and research institution in the field of integration research.
With the Institute for European Integration and two Master's degree courses, it offers an outstanding interdisciplinary platform for research, teaching and study in the field of European Studies. Renowned lecturers, a specialized library, interesting projects, events and publications as well as the adjoining residential complex create an intellectually inspiring environment for all students. The Europa-Kolleg was founded in 1953 and is organized as a foundation under private law.
The purpose of the Foundation is to promote research and academic teaching in the field of European integration and international cooperation. The Foundation contributes to the financing of the College and fulfills all related administrative tasks. The Foundation is managed by an honorary Board of Directors and advised by a Board of Trustees.

The Europa-Kolleg Hamburg is dedicated to research, teaching and public dialog on issues of European integration. Our standards are scientific excellence and practice-oriented education according to the highest academic standards.
