The book deals with the sensitive issue of illegal migration in the European Union, through a legal reconstruction of the phenomenon, starting from its origins. The interesting aspect is the understanding part between Italy and Germany, in order to understand the phenomenon in two different member countries, to grasp the main critical issues as well as to identify virtuous behaviors and to create a system as homogeneous as possible at the level of the European Union. The research was carried out in Italy and in Germany mainly through the analysis of legislative documents and doctrine on the subject.
