We would like to introduce to you another of our current visiting research fellows: Madalina Dobrescu.

Madalina Dobrescu holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Bucharest and an MA in International Politics from the University of Manchester. Madalina is currently a Phd candidate at the European Institute of the London School of Economics. Her thesis explores the European Union’s role in conflict resolution in Eastern Europe. Madalina’s research interests include conflict and peace dynamics, state-building and peace processes in Eastern Europe, the European Union’s external relations, and Europeanisation processes.

During her stay at the Institute for European Integration Madalina will investigate the role of EU civilian missions in security and peacebuilding processes in Eastern Europe.
