More than 20 guests attended the lecture by Prof. Dr. Christoph Herrmann organized by the Europa-Kolleg Hamburg and the University of Hamburg. Before the start of the lecture, the guests were warmly welcomed by the President of the Europa-Kolleg Hamburg Prof. Dr. Markus Kotzur. Thereupon, speaker Prof. Dr. Herrmann was introduced by Prof. Alexander Proelß from the Department of Law at the University of Hamburg. The speaker finally addressed questions on the defense capability of the European Union and on possibilities of a common European management of the consequences of climate change. Current issues such as the Russian attack on Ukraine and rising energy prices in Europe were also addressed.
