Europa-Kolleg Hamburg, in collaboration with Bundesverband Deutscher Volks- und Betriebswirte e.V. (bdvb – German Association of Political and Business Economists), will hold a panel discussion on Brexit – Consequences for Europe, Germany and Hamburg, on Monday, May 8th at 7pm (doors open 6:45pm). This event will take place at Amerikazentrum Hamburg, Am Sandtorkai 48 in 20457 Hamburg.
Dr. Konrad Lammers, Institute for European Integration, Prof. Dr. Karsten Nowrot, Hamburg University and Arne Olbrisch, Hamburg Chamber of Commerce will focus on legal aspects and economic impacts in their discussion of the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union. What does “Brexit” imply for Europe, Germany and Hamburg? The discussion will revolve around the upcoming exit negotiations and possible future configurations of the EU-UK relationship.
Prof. Dr. Markus Kotzur, Institute for European Integration, will lead the discussion and also invite the audience to direct questions at the panelists.
The following reception with some snacks and drinks will provide oppprtunity for further discussion.
