On the occassion of the 70th birthday of the Europa-Kolleg Foundation’s President the First Mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Mr Olaf Scholz, gave a speech on 4 November 2011: “Europa und die Schuldenkrise – Herausforderung für Hamburg” (“Europe and the debt crisis – challenges for Hamburg”).
